A new EU-CIVCAP blog post has been published by Richard G. Whitman, Professor of Politics and International Relations at the University of Kent and our second Expert of the Month. The post is entitled, “The importance of mediation for the EU’s international profile“.

The EU-CIVCAP Expert Network brings together academics and practitioners from across the spectrum of peacebuilding research and practice. Each month a member of the Expert Network is appointed Expert of the Month, and will publish a blog article on a peacebuilding-related topic of their choice. They will also be contactable via a form for the duration of their tenure.
