Erik Plänitz

EU-CIVCAP Staff


Erik Plänitz holds a Master Degree from the University of Gothenburg with a major in Global Studies. Focusing on Global Security and Democracy as well as Resource Governance he worked on local livelihoods and oil production in Ghana before joining the Flemish Peace Institute in Brussels. On the behalf of the Institute and International Peace Information Service (IPIS) Antwerp he has contributed to the Flemish research network “Trauma and Transformation” addressing actual debates in peacebuilding and show avenues into improved coordination among external actors.
