Federica Di Camillo is Senior Fellow in the Security and Defence Programme at IAI. Her work concerns the analysis of security and defence issues at national and European levels, especially focusing on: institutional strategies and developments, security research and technological evolutions, dual-use technologies, security market. Since 2005 she has been IAI responsible for EU-funded research security projects. She is IAI representative for the following R&D Platforms: IMG-S (Integrated Mission Group for Security) and SERIT (Security Research in Italy). In 2010, she was selected by the U.S. Dept. of State to participate in the International Visitor Leadership Program on “U.S. – European Security Issues”. A jurist by education, she studied at the Panthéon-Assas University in Paris and graduated from the La Sapienza University in Rome.
