Mark Rhinard is Professor of International Relations at Stockholm University, where he specializes in international cooperation on complex threats.He is also a Senior Research Fellow at the Swedish Institute of International Affairs and Senior Advisor at the European Policy Centre, Brussels. He earned his Masters and PhD degrees from Cambridge University and he has held teaching and postdoc positions at Oxford and Leiden universities. His research interests include the institutional contexts of international cooperation, particularly as they apply to ‘new’ security threats including pandemics, terrorism and natural disasters.
